Oreo Balls Recipe

three things You can make Oreo balls all year long because they are simple and don't need to be baked. They're great for gift-giving and cookie swaps in particular.  

– 36 regular Oreo cookie – 1 (8-ounce) package brick-style cream cheese softened (226 grams) – 16 ounces chocolate semi-sweet, milk, or white chocolate all work great (452 grams)



Get a large parchment-lined baking sheet. Blend Oreos into fine crumbs. Fill a large bowl with Oreo crumbs. Sprinkle 1–2 tablespoons crumbs on Oreo balls. 


Crush Oreos into cream cheese. Mix cookie crumbs and cream cheese with a handheld mixer, scraping bowl edges.Place 1-tablespoon mixture balls on baking sheet. 


Freeze the Oreo ball baking sheet for 20 minutes after baking. After Oreo balls set, chop chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Stir chocolate after 20–30 seconds in microwave to melt and smooth.


Cover Oreo balls with chocolate and carefully return them to the baking sheet. Cover Oreo balls with crumbs. Chocolate-coated Oreo balls should refrigerate for 20 minutes to harden. Salted and served.
